Rules

1. General:

  • 1.1 By participating in the league you automatically accept all its rules.If you don’t know the rules you’re still bound by them.
  • 1.2 Administration reserves the right to make any changes to the league’s rules.

 

2. League format, qualifications:

  • 2.1 League is divided in two stages: - all the teams play with each other.
    • 2.1.1 1st stage.
      Brackets format—Round-robin: all the teams play against each other.
      Matchformat— 4 1х1 matches and Ace-match in case of a draw.
      4 1х1 matches— BO1
      Acematch 1x1 —BO3
    • 2.1.2 2nd stage
      Brackets format—Single Elimination Playoffs.
      Matchformat—Allkill: the winner of the game plays the next one.All matches—BO7
      Finals and match for the third place—BO9
  • 2.2 Teams with top-6 point scores go to the next stage (if two or more teams have the same number of points, the one with less lost sets wins. If loses number are the same too, then winner is determined by personal meetings).
  • 2.3 Teams with top-2 scores in each division get a freeslot in a first round of chart. Teams are being placed in chart depending to their positions. 
    When there is only 1 division: Ro8 brackets (1-4-6 and 2-3-5), Top 4 team plays Top 6(winner plays Top 1), Top 3 plays Top 5(winner plays Top 2).
    When there are 2 divisions: Ro16 brackets (1A-4B-6A, 2B-3A-5B and 1B-4A-6B, 2A-3B-5A) played in the same manner as with 1 division.
  • 2.4 There are 3 types of divisions::
    1) 1 Division "Pro" 
    Teams with GM players
    2) 2 Division ”Semi-pro” Teams with top Master players
    3) 3 Division “Non-pro”Teams with low Master and lower leagues players
    Important: There are no restrictions regarding player’s league. Player of any league can be placed in any of the divisions.

3. Mappool:

  • 3.1 Mappool consists of ladder maps.
  • 3.2 First map of the match is set up automatically (for the first four games during in the group stage, for the first game during playoffs).
  • 3.3  In the playoffs losing team choses the next map.
  • 3.4 If for some reason the wrong map was played and there was no rematch, the result of the game will still count.

4. Teams and players:

  • 4.1 You can create team profile at:http://hdgame.net/tournaments/teams. Please note that following fields in teamprofile are required andmust befilled:Teamname, Tag,Site, Country, Logo.
  • 4.2 Team Leader must organize players registrations on site and assign their roles:
    Head Manager and Manager—can submit lineups, add and remove players from the team.
    Player—person with this role can only be a member of one team.(Not allowed to play in 2 or more teams at same time. Penalty: ban until the end of the season with player’s results nullified).
    Streamer —person with this role can be a member of multiple teams.
  • 4.3 Players must correctly fill all information in their profiles (nickname, race, battle.net account).
  • 4.4 Players are not allowed to have more than one account on the site. If you lost your login/password or account email just call the administration.
  • 4.5 Players who were caught cheating in StarCraft 2 are not allowed to participate in the league.
  • 4.6 Team’s name and player’s nicknames must be presentable must not contain swearing/insults/barcodes (“IIIIIIIII”). It’s not allowed to post a line-up with a barcode name in it.

 

5. Matches, postponing:

  • 5.1 By default teams play 2 matches per week. First matches are played on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; second matches are played on Thursdays and Fridays. Matches start:

  • 5.2 Match can be postponed if both teams agree. Judge may not allow this in some cases (example: If your match will delay start playoff stage). New date must be confirmed from by teams in commentary sections of the match or directly to judge. Message must consist of following: link tocw, new date in format : day/month/year, time and proof that thesecond team agrees on postponing.
  • 5.3 Points are awarded for winning sets. Winning a match gives +2 point. e.g. Team-A 4-2 Team-B (Team-A gets 6 points, Team-B gets 2 points).
  • 5.4 Both teams must save and keep replays from theirCWs for at least one week since the date CW was finished.

 

6. Transfers:

  • 6.1 Players are not allowed to transfer to the lower divisions during the season if they played at least one set in their current division.
  • 6.2 If your team consists of more than one composition, players are allowed to be transferred between them if those players haven’t played in any of the season matches.
  • 6.3 Players who haven’t played during the season will not be able to play in playoffs.
  • 6.4 At playoffs stage transfers are not allowed, includingadding a new member.Playoffs stage starts strictly after the last match of the team.
  • 6.5 Teamsareallowedtoinvitea “legionnaire” — player from the other team which is not participating in RSTL. A legionnaire must be added before fifth round of group stage. Legionnairecanonlyplayforoneteam

 

7. Peon ban: Player cannot play the next match.

  • 7.1 If player joins the team during the season, he receives Peon ban for next match. Peon ban lasts exactly one match. For example, if player joins the team at the same date match is played, he will not be able to play at it, but he’ll be able to play at the next one.
  • 7.2 Team can allow the opposing team player with a Peon ban to play the match.
  • 7.3 Managers can ask about peon-bans before start ofCW, if CW started peon-bans can’t be considered.
  • 7.4 If two teams are merged all new players who joined during the merge will receive a Peon ban for 1 match. If a team does not have 4 players without Peon bans, judges may allow some players with Peon ban to play.

 

8. Lineup and fill the results:

  • 8.1 Lineups consist of players and races they play. In the group stage players are lined up in accordance with the maps, ie, first player plays on the first map, second player plays the second one and so on. During the playoffs only the first pair of player/map is set automatically, following pairs are decided by the teams. Only players from the lineups are allowed to participate in matches.
  • 8.2 Lineups can be submitted at any time at the CW’s page but before CW timer is over.
  • 8.3 Lineups are revealed 15 minutes prior beginning of the match if both team added lineups beforehand or after last team have add their lineup (for example 7 minutes before CW). After lineups are revealed they cannot be changed.
  • 8.4 If one of the teams haven’t posted line-up or haven’t showed on CW, it will get tech lose and -1 point in the brackets.
  • 8.5 There is no strict player order during the playoff matches (except for the starting player).
  • 8.6 If first player is absent for more than 15 minutes he gets a tech lose, if next player after that is absent in 10 minutes as well, team gets a tech lose and have -1 pointthe brackets.
  • 8.7 Match results must be submitted no later than 6 hours after match starts. If teams do not confirm the results, site will automatically do that. If match results is absent both teams will get a -1 points in brackets.
  • 8.8 If player gets a tech lose it must be shown in Cw results.

 

9. Joker: Joker grants player a right to play second time replacing his teammate from lineups.

  • 9.1 Jokers are only available during playoffs stage. Teams can use jokers every match during this phase.
  • 9.2 You can use only one "Joker" per cw.
  • 9.3 Joker can’t be used on legionnaire.

  • 10.1 Set of official streamers held in a separate topic. We consider all applications before the season starts. After the start of the season application will be processed slowly or might be not processed at all.
  • 10.2 Stream delay must be more or equal of 2 minutes of real time.
  • 10.3 Teams must allow official streamers and judges into the game.
  • 10.4 If official streamer’s actions lead to unfair play (no stream delay or stream without commentary), you should report that to the judges. After several violations he will be removed from the official streamers list.
  • 10.5 Unofficial streamers and viewers are can be allowed into games, but team may disallow an unofficial streamer or viewer to spectate without explanation (allow viewers at you own risk, judges will not accept any complaints regarding any suspicion caused by unofficial streamer).
  • 10.6 If an official streamer who has announced his stream on a major site drops from the game, and there are no opportunities for him to make a re-stream, the game is being restarted from the replay; else the game continues without said streamer.
  • 10.7 If a judge drops from the game, the game doesn’t have to be replayed.
  • 10.8 In case of cooperative stream from two official streamers in Streamer-Streamer format, both must have their streams up (if stream is in Streamer-Co-caster format the co-caster should be dropped regardless if he is an official streamer).
    Important: Judges are not always online, so if there will be any kind of situation in the form of "we don’t allow, co-casters but the person doesn’t leave the game", you should:
    a) re-create the map, invite players and streamers by yourself.
    b) if the opponents have started the game, ask your player to leave the game and follow the step “a”.
    c) if the opponents do not want to start the game without a co-caster that you disallow, you need a make screenshots (text where you disallow named co-caster, screenshot that proves the he doesn’t want to leave, etc.) if there is evidence the offender team will receive tech lose in this set.

 

11. Disputes and protests:

  • 11.1 If a player drops from the game, the game resumes from the replay. If a second drop occurs, the opponent has a right to demand for a walkover.
  • 11.2 BM (Bad manners): it’s up to judge to decide whether or not an action was a BM. Examples of BM could be: offensive language or dragging the game that was clearly lost .
  • 11.3 All violations (BM etc.) or suspicions of unfair play are examined after the match and should have all proofs attached (screenshots, replays etc.).
  • 11.4 The verdict will be submitted to the match page, as an announce or in a personal message to the team manager.
  • 11.5 If a certain situation is not described in the rules the judge will make a judgment.
  • 11.6 To debate the verdict team must make an appeal.
  • 11.7 An appeal can be submitted in a personal message to the judge. An appeal must contain:
    1) Team name
    2) Link to the match in question
    3) Situation description
    4) Proofs
    Appeal is examined for up to 3 days of time(if there is a case of maphack suspicion it may take longer).

 

12. Penalties: PP - Penalty points. PPs are given to the team and in some cases additionally to the player. Black list, pp.
During playoffs stage it’s possible that team or/and player will receive a “warning” instead of Penalty Points, that might result in reduction of the prize money (1-5%).

  • 12.10 For every 3 PPs 1 point is withdrawn from team.
  • 12.11 If a player receives 5 PPs he is banned until the end of the season. Manager can also get 5PP, in this case, he is suspended from office manager to the end of the season, and if there is no second manager, his duties will be performed by selected player.

13. RSTL Skypeconference:

  • 13.1 Conference is the place for important news and for finding a new cw’s date with opponent’s managers.
  • 13.2 If you will show bad behavior you will get “silence”, ranging from few days to until the end of season.
  • 13.3 Several managers from one team can be in the conference but it is not advised for them to chat all at once.
  • 13.4 You should respect other teams and judges while in the conference. If you don’t respect the judges, it isn’t clear, why you participate in league.
  • 13.5 Appeals and any disputes are not considered within the conference.
  • 13.6 Basically it is desirable to be in the conference. All important information and news will be duplicated on website anyway.
